About
Hey I'm Thibault, this is my blog where I share my funky projects and ideas.
At 15, I received my first computer - the original white plastic MacBook - which sparked a significant change in my life. My dull school environment faded away as I began a self-education on the internet.
Here are the first few “assignments” I gave myself:
- Disable the school’s screen monitoring software and explore my interests freely.
- Download the software my chemistry teacher uses for exams on PirateBay, eliminating my need to study for the class
- Operate a few small, spammy internet businesses.
In 2014, I began studying Computer Science at McGill University. I left halfway through my degree in 2016, feeling sufficiently brainwashed.
Free from academic constraints, I explored various pursuits:
- I worked in the fast-food industry.
- I volunteered for non-profit organizations.
- I joined a startup.
- I founded my own non-profit, Instacode, to teach programming basics. Since 2018, over 30,000 people have registered with Instacode.
- I built a $1M NFT trading business in 2021.
In 2023, I returned for voluntary brainwashing by attending Le Wagon. I applied the skills I gained there to create a new NFT bot.
